Magnuson Farm LLC is a family owned farm located in beautiful Chaska, Minnesota. We breed and raise quarter horses and wholy own all of the mares on the farm.
Magnuson Farm aims to breed and raise award winning horses. Our focus is to produce healthy, high quality horses for competition in a variety of classes.
Lorretta Magnuson has been in the horse industry for 38 years. She first fell in love with horses at the age of three when riding a retired work horse, named Kate, but Lorretta's love for roans can be traced to an Appaloosa named Dusty born on her family's farm. Lorretta learned to ride bareback, and even learned to trick ride, thanks to the beautiful red roan gelding.
Lorretta's first quarter horse purchase was "Moody Dan" via Tim and Colleen McQuay. Since then, Lorretta has been a part of the AQHA along with her daughter Gretta Graceland and her granddaughters, Lorretta Bowser and Victoria Janusch. These dedicated ladies compete in AQHA shows throughout Minnesota.
It is Lorretta's passion for horses and her love of family that have made Magnuson Farm so successful.
